Cody Rhodes may have given WWE fans something new to talk about after sharing a photo from inside Marvel Studios. The American Nightmare posted a picture on his Instagram Story on Wednesday, August 26, showing himself at Marvel Studios’ offices in Burbank, California. Rhodes did not share any details about the visit. It is also not known if the photo was taken recently or during an older visit. For now, there is no confirmation from Rhodes or Marvel Studios that the WWE Superstar has been cast in an upcoming MCU project. Still, the photo was enough to get fans talking about which Marvel character Rhodes could play. Cody Rhodes’ Marvel Studios visit sparks speculation over a possible character Many fans brought up possible X-Men roles. One fan said Rhodes could play Bastion in a future X-Men movie. Another suggested William Stryker. Some fans posted images and GIFs and images featuring Venom, Alex Summers/Havok, and other Marvel characters. Some even suggested him as a Captain America variant in the upcoming Avengers: Secret Wars film. The speculation did not come completely out of nowhere. Rhodes has talked about his interest in acting and has previously made it clear that he would like to take on comic book roles. Years ago, Rhodes revealed that he moved to Los Angeles with acting in mind. During an earlier interview with Bleeding Cool, Rhodes called Black Bolt one of the best characters in comics. He also tried to land the role. During an appearance on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, Rhodes was asked which mutant he would like to play. As a longtime fan of the X-Men animated series, he reacted positively when Cable was suggested. Rhodes has previously spoken about wanting to follow in the footsteps of wrestling stars such as Dwayne Johnson, John Cena, and Dave Bautista.
