We take our place in the draw for the third round of the Carabao (EFL) Cup this evening. We booked our place with a 5-1 win over Charlton Athletic earlier this evening at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with goals from Mikey Moore, Dominic Solanke, Kevin Danso - his first for the Club - Savio - who struck on his debut - and Ben Davies. The draw takes place tonight live on Sky Sports following the conclusion of the second round tie between Preston North End and Everton. To be confirmed. Part of the draw has already taken place with the eight sides competing in the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League learning if they will face a home or away tie in the third round. With UEFA matches unable to be rescheduled, the European sides will learn their opponents for the third round first, with the first eight teams drawn facing one of the European sides, whether that be home or away. The following second round winners will then see their ties drawn as normal. The second round fixtures are scheduled to take place across the weeks beginning 7 and 14 September, dependent on whether your opponent is also competing in the UEFA Champions League or UEFA Europa League. Those with an opponent that is also competing in the Europa League will play their ties in the week of 7 September. Those with an opponent in the UEFA Champions League will play their tie in the week of 14 September. We've won it four times - 1971, 1973, 1999 and 2008.
