Livvy Dunne is making sure the Baywatch run stays in good hands. Let’s all say it together — Thank you, Liv!
The former LSU gymnast and current star of Fox’s Baywatch reboot recently hopped on TikTok with Olivia Ponton, the model linked to Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, for a lighthearted lesson in the show’s most famous move.
“Okay, today I’m here with Miss Olivia Dunne,” Ponton opens the clip. “She’s a ‘Baywatch’ baddie, if you didn’t know, and she’s going to teach me how to do the sexy on-the-beach strut because I need that.”
Not as much as we need it.
In the video, the two appear on the beach in matching striped swimsuits while Dunne breaks down the proper technique.

Dunne Shares Her Baywatch Run Tips
Come on, now. God bless. That is so much better than watching David Hasselhoff do the iconic run, amirite?
And Dunne keeps the instructions rather simple. Anybody can do the Baywatch run if they simply put their heart, mind, and soul into it. Oh, and also if they … fluff up what?
“One: fluff up your hair, get it on point,” Dunne said. “Two: fluff up what you got, get it on point. Three: mog and run.”
Sorry, I stopped listening. You had me at “fluff up what you got.”
The pair practice the moves together in the water, laughing throughout. Dunne then demonstrates the full slow-motion jog out of the surf, staring straight into the camera like a seasoned … well, Baywatch baddie.
Ponton uses several takes, cracking up between attempts, before finally nailing a solid version on her fourth try. When she asks for a rating, Dunne says what we’re all thinking: “I mean, I would be pretty happy if you saved me.”
Most of us would be happy with just an attempt. If we’re going out, having these two running toward us as the last thing we see is a sure sign we’re headed to the pearly gates.
Beach Lessons and Baywatch Vibes
This isn’t Dunne’s first time teaching the iconic run. She previously coached a wig-wearing Jimmy Fallon through the same strut on The Tonight Show. Because yeah, why not?

Ponton, who has been spotted with Burrow after Bengals practices, seems happy to play along. The video is pure summer fun—two popular social media personalities leaning into the nostalgia and glamour of the classic beach drama.
For Dunne, the clip is another easy way to stay visible while the new Baywatch series continues to roll out.
“I only run in slow motion now,” she told fans back in March.
