Trabzonspor have made a transfer decision on the future of Chibuike Nwaiwu amid interest from Premier League, French and German clubs. The Turkish Cup winners have rejected an offer of around €30 million (approximately N47 billion in Nigerian currency) from Crystal Palace for Nwaiwu, according to Haber61. The Premier League club's lucrative proposal was turned down, with Trabzonspor determined to keep the young centre-back as they target a challenge for the Super Lig title in the forthcoming season. The Black Sea club will only consider letting Nwaiwu leave if they receive an offer that is too good to refuse before the transfer window closes. Crystal Palace's London rivals Fulham are also interested in the Super Eagles defender, while several French clubs are said to be monitoring his progress. Nwaiwu has put himself in the shop window with his impressive displays for Trabzonspor during the second half of last season, scoring three headed goals in 16 league appearances. Signed from Wolfsberger AC during the January transfer window, the 23-year-old is under contract with Trabzonspor until June 30, 2030.
