St Mirren are set to sign Manchester United defender Louis Jackson on a permanent deal, STV Sport can reveal. The 20-year-old centre-back came through the youth ranks at United and has played for Scotland Under-19s. Jackson is due to undergo a medical on Thursday ahead of a permanent deal. He spent last season on loan with Solihull Moors in the English National League. The Buddies also secured the loan signing of former Aberdeen defender Calvin Ramsay from Liverpool on Tuesday.
