Report: Chiefs trade late-round pick to Giants for offensive line help KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The Kansas City Chiefs are reportedly acquiring some help on the offensive line. According to a report from Jordan Schultz, the Chiefs are trading a seventh-round pick in the 2028 NFL Draft to the New York Giants. In exchange, they will acquire offensive guard Josh Ezeudu. The 26-year-old who was drafted in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft has played in 33 games and made 10 starts in his career with the Giants missed the 2025 season due to injury. Ezeudu played in college at North Carolina. He joins a Chiefs offensive line that has struggled in the preseason with members of the non-starting unit, specifically with an excessive number of penalties. During the Chiefs’ first preseason game against the Rams, Kansas City had double-digit penalties, many of which were on the offensive line. Copyright 2026 KCTV. All rights reserved.
