Linda McMahon, who currently serves as the United States Secretary of Education, has drawn Cornette’s ire. This came after her comments on parental rights and transgender students in school. Jim Cornette Tears Into Linda McMahon Over Parental Rights Remarks During a recent back-to-school event at the White House on August 24, Linda McMahon appeared alongside President Donald Trump. McMahon praised President Trump’s role in parental rights while denouncing the Biden administration. This was for allegedly allowing schools to “secretly transition students” unbeknownst to their parents. Linda McMahon stated, “After the Biden administration allowed schools to secretly ‘transition’ students without parents’ knowledge, President Trump is defending parental rights like never before.” McMahon was referring to the debate over whether schools should let parents know when a student uses a different name or pronouns. This stems from some school policies allowing students to use different names and pronouns. This has led to debate over parents’ right to know vs. students’ privacy. However, there is no evidence that schools are “secretly transitioning” students by providing hormones or carrying out gender-transition surgeries. Cornette, known for his outspoken commentary, blasted Linda McMahon over her remarks, reacting to a clip of McMahon’s statement. On X he tweeted, “I can believe the plastic-faced stooge lying with the crime boss standing over her–what I’m gobsmacked about is that anyone with a functioning brain actually BELIEVES this gibberish.” This doesn’t come as a surprise, as this is not the first time that the wrestling veteran has been critical of Linda McMahon or Donald Trump. A few months ago, Cornette satirically called for the revocation of Donald Trump’s citizenship to reduce crime after the president tried to restrict birthright citizenship. And as for Linda McMahon, Cornette impugned her suitability for the role of Secretary of Education on his podcast after McMahon referred to AI as A1. All things considered, it’s conspicuous that Cornette holds deep disdain for Linda McMahon based on his past commentary about her.
