There is a new serious situation to monitor for the Cincinnati Bengals as superstar wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase has gone down with an injury. The good news right away was that Chase was able to get up and walk on his own power. However, with the season on the verge of starting, this can be a scary situation. Here is the video of the injury. It looks like a simple tweak. After practice, the star wide receiver provided an update on his injury. He said that it is just a hyperextended knee and he could have remained in practice if he needed to, via Kelsey Conway of the Cincinnati Enquirer. He assured that if the Bengals had to play a game tomorrow that he would be out there. It's hard to explain how much Chase means to the Bengals. If he ever has to miss time, then that would be a situation the Bengals would have a hard time overcoming. This is a franchise and fanbase that is sick and tired of seeing their star players hurt. All this team wants is a healthy season for Joe Burrow, Chase, Tee Higgins, and many more. If that can happen, then Super Bowl conversations resurface based on what they were able to accomplish in 2021. It really is now or never for this core because management has done a great job of providing Burrow with a massive amount of talent. It's on the players to stay healthy and get the job done. Hopefully, all signs are positive moving forward and that Chase shouldn't miss any regular season action.
