The Cincinnati Bengals' chances this year are built around a few notable stars, but one of those stars had an injury scare during Tuesday's practice. Wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase had to leave practice early with a leg injury that he suffered during a pass-play rep. Chase's left knee buckled on the play, leading to some cause for concern among Bengals fans. Chase appears to be fine — but should he be forced to miss any amount of time this season, the Bengals will be in for a tough challenge to replace him in the offense. Therefore, Cincinnati is likely to be careful with him as they treat his new injury. Here's the latest on Chase's health status. With those three healthy, Cincinnati boasts a top-tier passing attack. However, the Bengals do not have much depth beyond their first-team unit. Outside of the top three, only Mitchell Tinsley was a factor last year as he had eight catches for 116 yards on the season, while Charlie Jones is the only other Bengals wide receiver to have caught a pass in 2025. In the 2026 NFL Draft, the team drafted Colbie Young in the fourth round out of Georgia hoping he can provide some more depth. Still, the Bengals hope that they can ease him into the season instrad of relying on him to replace any of the top three receivers.
