The Rock’s filming schedule might reportedly affect his status for WWE WrestleMania 43 next year. WWE WrestleMania 43 will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in April 2027. Reports earlier this year indicated that The Rock “would be getting the largest offer ever made for someone to do a pro wrestling show” if he agrees to appear at the event. There was also speculation that the People’s Champion’s long-awaited match with Roman Reigns could take place at the show. However, The Rock’s filming schedule for Fast Forever, the 11th and final film in The Fast and the Furious franchise, could affect his status for WrestleMania 43. Vin Diesel recently told Variety that the filming is expected to begin in December. The WWE legend is scheduled to reprise his role as Luke Hobbs. F4WOnline’s Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez discussed The Rock’s filming schedule on the post-RAW episode of the Wrestling Observer Radio. Meltzer noted that it’s possible the People’s Champion could make an appearance at WWE WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia. However, if he’s filming for the movie in December, his chances of wrestling at the event in April are “very unlikely.” Dave Meltzer says The Rock wrestling at WWE WrestleMania 43 is very unlikely “Because that movie is gonna take months to film, if he is in it, which he is scheduled to be in it, that him doing a match at WrestleMania would be out the window. I mean, could he fly to Saudi Arabia and show up? Of course. Of course he could, and he could always do that,” Meltzer said about The Rock’s schedule. “I know that the Saudis really wanted him to wrestle on that show next year, and if they offer enough money, there may be a way, but I don’t know where he’s gonna get time to train when he’s doing a movie like that. And I don’t see him doing something in the ring without training. He has too much pride, if that’s the right word, to go out there and half-a** it. I mean, the one thing that you could say is every time he came back, he trained his a** off.“ “I don’t see him doing a match. Now, as far as showing up for an appearance, I could certainly see that.“ “To get Dwayne to do something at this stage, especially in Saudi Arabia, the amount of money would be giant. But, like I said, from a timing standpoint, I think it would be very unlikely he’s doing a match,” Meltzer said.
