Bears, Colts, Lions unveil 2026 ‘NFL Rivalries’ uniforms NFC North and AFC South teams join Nike x NFL Rivalries program (WNDU) - The NFL’s second wave of “Rivalries” uniforms was unveiled Tuesday, featuring teams from the NFC North and AFC South. All teams from these divisions, including the Chicago Bears, Indianapolis Colts and Detroit Lions, will wear the uniforms during one home game against a division rival this season. After their on-field debut, the Rivalries uniform will be included in the team’s uniform lineup for three years. The Nike x NFL Rivalries program began last year with NFC West and AFC East teams. Teams that launched uniforms in 2025 will wear those designs again for a select game this season against a division rival. Additional teams will debut during the 2027 and 2028 NFL seasons. The Colts will debut their “Anvil Strike” uniforms during their Week 3 matchup against the Houston Texans on Sept. 27. The Lions will wear their “Defend the Den” uniforms in Week 8 against the Minnesota Vikings on Nov. 1. The Chicago Bears will debut their “Return of the Monsters” uniforms against the Green Bay Packers on Christmas Day in Week 16. Chicago Bears The jersey is navy with orange numerals outlined in white, three vertical stripes on the sleeves, a “Monsters of the Midway” inscription stitched inside the jersey collar, and a patch honoring founder George Halas on the front. The patch is a replica of the 1983 jersey patch the Bears wore to honor Halas after his death that year. The helmet is orange with a navy “C” outlined in white. It features an updated “BEARS” mark on the front bumper and the four Chicago stars on the rear bumper. The pants are orange with a double navy and white stripe running vertically down the legs. Indianapolis Colts The Colts’ “Anvil Strike” Rivalries uniform features a metallic blue helmet with an “INDY” mark on the front bumper. The team will wear a dark gray jersey featuring the horseshoe for the first time in team history, along with enhanced shoulder-pad stripes and horseshoe-inspired grommets. The Colts’ rallying cry “For The Shoe” appears inside the jersey as a tribute to fans. The pants will also be dark gray with a blue stripe. Detroit Lions The Lions’ Rivalries uniform, the “Defend the Den” threads, is primarily white with the team’s Honolulu blue scattered throughout. The white jersey features Honolulu blue and black stripes on the shoulder, black italicized numbers outlined in blue across the chest and back of the jersey, and “Detroit” in Honolulu blue lettering above the number on the front. “Defend the Den” also appears on the back neckline.
