Former Wimbledon champion Marketa Vondrousova has appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport against her four-year suspension for refusing an anti-doping test.
The 27-year-old Czech was banned in June after failing to submit a sample during an out-of-competition test attempt at her home last December.
Vondrousova, who in 2023 became the first unseeded player to win the Wimbledon women's singles title, is suspended until June 2030.
She said in April that when she refused the test she was at "breaking point after months of physical and mental stress" and that the official who called at her home failed to properly identify themselves or follow "protocol".
A tribunal determined Vondrousova provided "no compelling justification" for refusing the test.
