Zilla Fatu Goes Viral For All The Wrong Reasons Before WWE Move: "Bloodline Hyping This Clown Up" "It Really Does Run In the family"

Zilla Fatu is reportedly WWE-bound, and his supposed last match on the indies had a moment that he won’t be too proud of.
The rumors suggest Umaga’s son is expected to join WWE and become the latest member of the Samoan family to be a part of the company’s ranks.
It was reported that Zilla was already at the Performance Center in June, and uniting with his Bloodline cousins is just a matter of when and not if at this point. Ahead of the move, Fatu competed in his final match for House of Glory at HOG High Intensity 2026 against the Amazing Red. Zilla would drop the HOG Crown Jewel Championship to the TNA legend, but there was a messy and seemingly dangerous spot in the match that caught everyone’s attention.
As you can view below, Zilla and Amazing Red attempted an elaborate sequence involving a crucifix and code red that ended up going awry.
The match was really really bad. https://t.co/P0Cv9NSzhu pic.twitter.com/ZSPMlaPqrI

Fans React To The Uncomfortable Zilla Fatu Moment
Many were quick to blame Zilla Fatu and his inexperience, expressing concerns about WWE signing another wrestler who is “green” and noting that in-ring botches probably run in the family, referring to Jey Uso’s mishaps in the squared circle.
Several others also noted Amazing Red’s high-flying style and the fact that the 44-year-old veteran has slowed down in the ring could be a potential reason for the spot going wrong. Check out some of the reactions below:
Mistakes and miscommunications happen in the ring, and apart from the moment that has gone viral, the match was said to have been fine.
Zilla Fatu could very well start in NXT, given that he has just been in wrestling for 3 years and might still need some polishing and time learning the WWE style before he gets called up to the main roster and is integrated into the Bloodline storyline.
