Tristan Wirfs Returns To Practice Against The Jaguars August 25th, 2026Exciting sight this morning in humid Jacksonville. The Bucs are here for joint practices against the Jaguars and All-World Bucs left tackle Tristan Wirfs is on the field — in pads, hitting people. Wirfs has been used sparingly in 11-on-11 work, but he sure looks good. The Bucs appear to just be babying his healing (healed?) hamstring. There’s quite a dropoff, obviously, as Wirfs plays a few snaps and in comes undrafted free agent rookie Paul Rubelt to replace him. Joe doesn’t think it was a coincidence that Wirfs was on the field when Ted Hurst caught a 3o-yard dart from Baker Mayfield down the left seam. Hurst got to show off his YAC (yards after catch) burst, but the play was blown dead after the catch.
