UEFA have confirmed Aston Villa's current squad for the Super Cup clash against Paris Saint-Germain. However, the list can be amended at any time until 23:59 CET on the day before the match, provided the club's association confirms in writing that any new players are eligible to play at domestic level by the date of the competition. Meanwhile, George Hemmings and Luka Lynch could be named in Villa's List B squad, which does not need to be submitted until 4 August 2026 (23:59 CET). UEFA rules state that a player may be registered on List B if he is born on or after 1 January 2005 and has, since his 15th birthday, been eligible to play for the club concerned for an uninterrupted period of two years, or for a total of three consecutive years, with a maximum of one loan spell to a club from the same association lasting no longer than one year.
