Liverpool supporters are desperate to see new signings arrive at Anfield this week, and Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg has delivered an exciting update. Situations [are] just not because one person is playing there, [it] is something that we have to correct between a lot of players.” It remains to be seen if a midfielder will be looked at by Liverpool this week, but Plettenberg has taken to X to say that he expects significant business to be done: “Liverpool are planning to sign 2-3 more players before Deadline Day. Bradley Barcola and Yankuba Minteh remain the top priorities for Liverpool at this stage.” Defining week in the transfer market for Liverpool This summer has been a disappointment overall on the transfer front, and if there isn’t key business completed this month, it will be negligence of the highest order from FSG and the recruitment team.
