This next generation’s Undertaker appeared on WWE SmackDown which led to chaos and controversy. On this week’s fallout from SummerSlam episode of SmackDown, Baron Corbin made an interesting tweak in his current “Nomad” character by coming out with a motorcycle, along with his newly-won WWE United States championship. This is similar to what The Undertaker used to do during his prime as an American Badass and Big Evil from 2000 to 2003. At SummerSlam Sunday, Corbin dethroned Trick Williams for the aforementioned championship by taking out Lil Yachty and hitting him with his custom-made belt. He immediately defended it against the latter this time in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Friday Nights. Baron Corbin Retains The WWE United States Championship In Similar Fashion On SmackDown Trick Williams released all his pent-up frustration and anger to the new WWE United States champion, Baron Corbin. He even neutralized Corbin outside the ring while soaking in the admiration from the Xfinity Mobile Arena crowd. The Anointed One and the Lone Wolf went back-and-forth with their signature moves, only for a near fall. When the former hit his Trick Shot, the latter kicked out by placing his hand on the ropes. Williams couldn’t believe that his finishing move only got a two count but his complaints to the referee went up in smoke. This was because Corbin nailed him with the US title belt once again, just like at SummerSlam, and immediately pinned the challenger to successfully defend the championship. The A-Champ immediately attacked the Lone Wolf and told him he would challenge him for the gold next week on WWE SmackDown in his hometown of Boston, Massachusetts.
