Former WWE creative team member Road Dogg comments on the ongoing Johnny Gargano exit speculation. Following Ilja Dragunov’s exit from the promotion last week, some worried fans pointed out that Johnny Gargano didn’t list WWE on his X/Twitter bio. Since it’s something superstars who leave the promotion usually do, many feared the former Tag Team Champion was also on his way out. Sharing a post speculating about Johnny Gargano’s exit on Facebook, former WWE SmackDown co-head writer Road Dogg noted that, like him, Gargano was also a Triple H guy. He also said time changes and marches on, possibly implying that, like he left the company after a 15-year tenure, Gargano could also leave. “Johnny was a Hunter guy. But I was too. The times they are a changing. Time marches on!” he wrote. Johnny Gargano has been playing out his “depression” storyline after his tag team partner Tommaso Ciampa left WWE for AEW earlier this year. However, the promotion still features him regularly on television, showing him simply lying face down backstage. Gargano last competed in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on SmackDown before WrestleMania. Four months of inactivity made fans worry that Johnny Gargano’s social media situation signalled his exit from the company. However, recent reports clarified his status, saying he hasn’t listed WWE in his social media bios in years, and that he’s still part of the internal roster.
