Di Gregorio completes Bournemouth loan move from Juventus
Juventus goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio has completed his loan move to Bournemouth for the 2026/27 season. The deal includes an option for the Premier League club to make the transfer permanent for €14 million.
Reports indicate the buy option is not mandatory, meaning Bournemouth can decide whether to sign the Italian permanently at the end of the loan. This contrasts with claims that the deal includes an obligation to buy.
Di Gregorio joined Juventus from Monza after initially arriving on loan in 2024, with his permanent transfer subsequently completed. He made 29 Serie A appearances for Juventus during the 2025/26 campaign.
The 29-year-old goalkeeper now moves to England in search of regular Premier League football and a fresh challenge after two seasons with Juventus. He was named Serie A’s best goalkeeper for the 2023/24 season during his time at Monza.
The move also allows Bournemouth to strengthen their goalkeeping options ahead of the new Premier League campaign, while Juventus continue to reshape their squad following the arrival of Guglielmo Vicario.
