Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb’s home in Fairview, Texas, was burglarized while the star receiver was away at training camp, with more than $300,000 worth of property reportedly stolen, police said. Fairview police responded to Lamb’s residence in the 500 block of Michelle Way at about 1:20 p.m. on July 31 after receiving a report of a burglary. When officers arrived, they met with people representing Lamb, according to the Fairview Police Department. Investigators identified a broken window on the side of the home as the likely point of entry and exit. High-End Items Stolen Police said evidence indicated that a single suspect entered and left the residence through the broken window, taking several high-end personal belongings. Four luxury bags were reportedly among the items stolen. The total value of the property taken exceeded $300,000. Police have not publicly identified a suspect or announced any arrests. The Fairview Police Department said it was working with other law enforcement agencies in the area as investigators continued efforts to identify the person responsible. Lamb Was at Cowboys Training Camp Lamb was away from his Fairview home when the burglary occurred. The Cowboys had arrived in Oxnard, California, on July 27 for training camp, and Lamb was with the team at the time of the break-in. The Cowboys returned to Texas after their preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals on Saturday. The team had no comment on the burglary. Lamb, 27, was selected by Dallas in the first round of the 2020 NFL draft and has established himself as one of the Cowboys’ top offensive players. Burglary Follows Break-Ins Targeting Athletes The burglary was the latest in a series of incidents involving the homes of professional athletes. Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley’s Pennsylvania home was invaded last month while he and his family were inside. No injuries were reported. In another case, a Seattle man was charged last year in connection with burglaries targeting the homes of several current and former NFL and MLB players. Three men were also indicted in connection with a burglary at Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow’s home. More than $300,000 in luggage, watches, glasses, and jewelry was reportedly taken in that case. Fairview police continued to investigate the circumstances surrounding the burglary at Lamb’s home.
