TalkSPORT pundit wants Tottenham to make a late swoop for Aston Villa goalkeeper after Antonin Kinsky’s mistake vs. Brentford. I will be because I’m watching goalkeepers who can’t catch the ball. “Now, it was an effort that, okay, he could palm it round the post or whatever. But it’s also to me an effort that goalkeepers used to catch.” Asked if Kinsky should remain as the club’s first-choice goalkeeper this season, he responded: “No. I thought they needed a new goalkeeper. And if they could get Emiliano Martinez out of Aston Villa, because he looks like he could go, I’d take him. An experienced goalkeeper, a lot more solid. “I wasn’t a fan of Guglielmo Vicario, and it’s been a tough period for Spurs, but Kinsky doesn’t look like an answer to me. You know when he’s doing things like that. “We’ve all had bad games. I’ve had plenty of them in my career, but when you do certain things, which is a simple catch for me, that ends up making it 2-0 for Vitaly Janelt, who’s on the end of that. “He’s basically set up Janelt to just knock it in the back of the net.” De Zerbi is expected to back Kinsky after Brentford mistake Kinsky, in particular, did not cover himself in glory at the Gtech Community Stadium. After the Champions League disaster vs. Atletico Madrid and then turning around his fortunes across the final seven games of the last season, the Czech Republic would have hoped for a solid start to the season. Instead, the youngster’s confidence has tumbled after his parry led to Janelt’s goal. However, De Zerbi will be backing Kinsky to overcome a tough start to the new season. The Tottenham boss is expected to encourage the 23-year-old glovesman to keep doing the good work and quickly eliminate the Brentford game from his mind.
