Seamus Power missed the cut at the Wyndham Championship which saw his hopes of making the FedEx St Jude Championship end. It means a second consecutive missed cut for the Waterford man, after he missed out on the weekend at last week's Rocket Classic, and it leaves him outside the top 100 in the FedEx Cup and batting to avoid conditional status on the PGA Tour for the second consecutive season. Power came into the day seven off the lead but things got away from early on, as he hit six on the par-four second to drop to level par. A bogey on the fifth saw him reach the turn at one over, before another on 11 dropped him further back. Power looked to have pulled things together when he picked up three birdies in five holes, but he undid all that good work with a triple bogey seven on the last. It saw him finish on two over par, with the cut mark set at three under. Beau Hossler leads the field by one shot after a birdie on 18 at Sedgefield Country Club, with Ben James and Jordan Smith, who shot 64, a stroke behind.
