West Ham are eager to offload players who are showing they want out of east London, with ExWHUEmployee reporting the latest. As the closing of this summers transfer window nears, it seems the club have a lot to do, with players needed on top of those who want out and could also need replacing also. Reporting on The West Ham Way Patreon, our club insider Ex has advised the current state of play. “As has been the case throughout the window the club are keen to move some players out who are simply refusing to apply themselves properly,” stated Ex. “The club hope they can get Jean-Clair Todibo to move soon. Marseille are said to be most keen on the move with a few other clubs showing interest. “Edson Alvarez is another that we need to move on as he is another refusing to play. He has a number of clubs including Real Sociedad, Olympiacos and Ajax going for his signature. “The club wish to sell him and are trying to avoid another loan out. “Then we have the situation with Diouf who looks to be open to a move away from the club. “Brentford are still thought to be keen, Sunderland and a couple of other clubs may be tempted to make a move. The club will not sell though unless their target fee is reached and it hasn’t been yet. “I think the situation with Magassa isn’t quite as extreme as those above examples but he is another that is potentially looking to move. It does seem that he hasn’t got full fitness back and could feature in the game against Southampton to build up fitness but if a club comes in for him then we may have to sell there too. “If these players do stay then they will be encouraged to be progressional and try and help the club return to the Premier League.”
