Aston Villa led French champions OL Lyonnes at half-time but ended up conceding three goals in the second half. A header from Océane Deslandes off a Lynn Wilms cross put Villa ahead in Bavaria, until Damaris Egurrola nodded home a Jule Brand delivery. Marie-Antoinette Katoto later bagged a brace to decide the match 3-1 in favour of Lyonnes.
