Brandon Clarke’s cause of death revealed MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Memphis Grizzlies player Brandon Clarke died from effects of heroin and cocaine, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office. Clarke was found dead inside his home in California in May. The medical examiner’s report lists his cause of death as effects of heroin and cocaine, and lists other significant conditions as “combined effects of multiple prescription medications.” Clarke was previously arrested on April 1 on drug charges and leading deputies on a chase in Cross County, Arkansas.
