ISLAMABAD: Twenty-two former international cricket captains have once again written to Pakistan’s Prime Minister, urging authorities to ensure proper medical care and family access for former Pakistan captain and former prime minister Imran Khan. The former captains had previously written a similar letter in February. The latest appeal comes amid concerns that Pakistan allegedly has not fully complied with directions issued by the Supreme Court regarding Imran Khan’s medical assessment and family meetings. Key Demands The former cricket captains have made three key demands. First, they called for the medical board directed by the Supreme Court, including Imran Khan’s own doctors, to be allowed to conduct a full and independent assessment of his health, particularly reports of vision loss in his right eye. Second, they urged authorities to ensure that the weekly family visits ordered by the court are restored and allowed without interruption or administrative delays.
